About me
Hi, I’m Zarmeena — an osteopath, a mum of four, and someone who knows first-hand that life rarely follows a neat routine (and that’s okay).
My journey into healthcare began with a love of science and the human body, leading me to complete a degree in Medical Biology at Brunel University. But like many paths in life, my story took a turn I didn’t quite expect. After my mum suffered a serious accident, I found myself drawn to the world of osteopathy — a way of working that didn’t just focus on the problem, but on the person. I went on to graduate from the British School of Osteopathy (now University College of Osteopathy) in 2014, and I haven’t looked back since.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked with a wide range of people — from professional athletes and fitness enthusiasts to pregnant women and tired parents who are simply trying to make it through the day without back pain. But my approach has always stayed the same: to treat every person as an individual, to listen carefully, and to focus on what’s really going on beneath the surface.
I’m especially passionate about women’s health, pregnancy care, and pelvic health — not just because of my training and postgraduate studies, but because of my own lived experience. As a mother, I know the physical and emotional toll that pregnancy, birth, and parenting can take on the body (and mind). I understand the juggle, the exhaustion, the pressure we put on ourselves to keep going.
One part of my story that’s incredibly close to my heart is being mum to our amazing daughter, who has global developmental delay. She’s our superstar. Through her, I’ve learned more about patience, resilience, and what it really means to listen — not just as a parent, but as a person. She’s taught me to see the world differently, to question how society defines ability, and to hold space for people’s experiences in a way that has profoundly shaped both my parenting and my practice.
These lessons show up in how I work every day. My job isn’t just about joints, muscles, and posture. It’s about understanding your story. It’s about creating a space where you feel heard, cared for, and supported — whether you’re recovering from injury, navigating pregnancy, or dealing with the aches and pains of everyday life.
You’ll find me at Kinetic Integrated Health (kinetic-clinic.com), working alongside a brilliant team of like-minded practitioners. Together, we focus on evidence-based care that doesn’t lose the human touch.
There’s no such thing as perfect balance — not in parenting, not in health, not in life. But with the right support, a bit of patience, and maybe a sprinkle of humour, there’s always a way forward.
Thank you for being here. I’m really glad you found your way to my little corner of the internet.
